About the Competition

The ICEQ International Teaching Excellence Award is a prestigious initiative organised as part of the International Congress on Education Quality (ICEQ). The main aim of the Competition is to honour academic teachers and teaching teams who demonstrate outstanding achievements in innovative and effective teaching. The Competition promotes a culture of quality in education and facilitates the exchange of best educational practices on an international level.

Who Can Participate?

Practical Information

The competition is open to all and has an international scope. It is aimed at academic staff at universities in Poland and abroad. Entries may be submitted by:

academic staff

teaching teams led by an academic teacher

  • Application Language: The form can be completed in Polish or English.

 

  • Required Documents: The form must be accompanied by a visualisation of the initiative (one slide) and formal approval of the application by the employing institution.

 

  • Limit: Each person may submit only one initiative per edition of the Competition.

Criteria and Conditions for Entry

The competition focuses on teaching initiatives implemented over the last two calendar years. The Competition Jury assesses applications according to four universal criteria

Awards and Finals

The Competition winners receive certificates confirming their receipt of the ICEQ International Teaching Excellence Award. The awards ceremony takes place during the opening of the International Congress on Education Quality, and information about the winners is published on the Congress’s official website.
