The Polish Graphic Arts Triennial is considered the most prestigious review of Polish contemporary graphics, the ambition of which is to take into account all creative attitudes and tendencies, to stimulate the development of graphics and explorations that expand the scope of this discipline, as well as to enrich Polish culture.
Description | The dynamics of changes taking place in the world around us pose an increasing challenge for creative people. Some of them function in an intermedia symbiosis between technological innovations and cultural heritage. Others consistently use familiar artistic methods with commitment to analyzing contemporary phenomena. Regardless of individual creative strategies, all manifestations of artistic activity have the potential to transform into important tools that shape reality and influence its overall development. The exhibition of the 12th Triennial of Polish Graphics is a presentation of the most interesting artistic statements and personalities, showing the complex nature of the contemporary graphic process. The exhibition presents the achievements of Polish artists who create in the broadly understood graphic medium using both classical and contemporary techniques. Therefore, in addition to projects made using traditional methods (linocut, intaglio, lithography), we have digital animations, spatial forms or works using VR technology. |
